Need Reliable Screen Sharing Solution for iPhone – Any Suggestions?
Hey folks, I'm looking for a solid screen sharing solution for iPhone. Here's the situation: I often need to guide my mom through settings, apps, and troubleshooting stuff on her phone. She’s not super tech-savvy, and trying to explain everything over the phone is becoming frustrating for both of us. I’ve tried regular video calls, but the quality isn’t great, and she has trouble pointing the camera properly at the screen. I'm hoping for something where I can actually see or even control her screen in real-time if possible. Does anyone know of a workaround or method that works smoothly for this kind of use case?

I’ve been dealing with this too, mostly helping my aunt with her online banking apps and making sure she doesn’t fall for scams. What helped me was getting her used to a process where she shares her screen to a link I send. She just taps it, allows access, and I can see what she’s doing. There's no direct control but watching in real-time cuts down on so many misunderstandings. I also screen-record my own phone and send her quick clips showing where to tap and what to look for. It’s not ideal, but combining live screen viewing with visual instructions has worked surprisingly well. Took a bit of coaching at the start though.
