Which file formats are more convenient — MP4, WEBM, or something else?
I keep downloading short clips for my own use, and I noticed that some services give me MP4 while others offer WEBM or even MOV. On my phone, MP4 plays fine, but when I tried to share a WEBM file with a friend, she couldn’t open it without converting. Do you guys stick with MP4 only, or do you find other formats better in certain situations?

For me, MP4 is the safest choice because it works on pretty much everything — phone, laptop, TV. WEBM has its place, especially if you want smaller file sizes, but I’ve run into compatibility issues too. I’ve been using an Instagram downloader that mostly gives MP4 by default, which saves me the hassle of converting. I think it depends on whether you care more about universal playback or smaller storage.
