Let me share my experience of a good trip – anyone else tried planning with AI?

I recently went on a trip that turned out surprisingly smooth, and I think it might be because of how I planned it. Normally, I’d spend hours comparing routes, checking public transport schedules, and bookmarking places to eat. This time, I used an ai trip planner I stumbled across out of curiosity. It asked a few questions about my preferences and budget, and within seconds, I had a suggested itinerary that looked reasonable. At first, I wasn’t expecting much – I thought it would be a basic outline or just generic suggestions. But it included things like walking times between spots, realistic gaps between meals and activities, and even a few options to choose from depending on how I felt that day. I didn’t follow it to the letter, but it gave me a sense of flow without the pressure of planning every hour manually.

Has anyone else tried something like this? Curious how others found the experience, especially if you’re used to planning everything on your own.

One day I had extra time and just tapped “find nearby” on the app, and it gave me a quiet museum and a tea place within walking distance I wouldn’t have found otherwise. It wasn’t about being perfect, but it gave me options that fit the mood I was in. For someone who gets caught up in trying to maximize every moment, it was weirdly calming to have a guide that didn’t feel rigid.
